Maytag Washing Machine Latch Parts

Washer door lock latch assembly. The door lock secures the washer door shut during operation. Once the washing machine door is closed, the washer can begin operating. If the door lock is defective, the washer door will not latch properly.

Washer lid lock. Be aware the manufacturer has updated the part and it is now white and clips into the main top without mounting screws. If the washing machine does not spin the lid lock may be defective.

Washer lid strike assembly (light gray)

REMOVING THE LID STRIKE ON GLASS LID MODELS 1. Push a small screwdriver into the hole of the lid strike to release a locking tab. 2. Turn the strike counter clockwise. 3. Pull the strike out of the mounting hole.
