Dryer thermal fuse. Opens at approximately 196°F (91°C). *If open check for air flow issues like plugged exhaust vent or damaged blower wheel

A bad fuse will have no continuity meaning the electrical path is broken. A multimeter can be used to test it for continuity.

Dryer electric heating element assembly

The heating element and many other parts can be tested using a volt/ohm meter which is a handy item to have in any do it yourselfers tool box.

Dryer drum support roller. If the dryer is making a rumbling or knocking noise the rollers may be worn out causing the drum not to turn smoothly.

The Dryer Maintenance Kit 4392067 includes drum support rollers, a multi-rib belt, an idler pulley wheel, triangle clips, and a washer for a complete maintenance overhaul. If your Whirlpool, Kenmore, or Maytag dryer is making loud noises or the drum is not turning, it may be time for replacement.

Dryer door switch assembly. If the dryer does not start then the door switch could be defective. This switch also replaces the two wire switch.

Door handle, white. Snaps in place

Dryer high-limit thermostat, L250-80, with terminal extension arm. This thermostat should be closed for continuity at room temperature and opens at around 250 degrees Fahrenheit. If the dryer won't heat, the high-limit thermostat might be defective.

The part may look different than the original but the part will still install and work the same.

Dryer lint screen assembly. Proper air flow is critical to dryer operation so the filter should be cleaned before every load.
